Representatives of the TPE, Convoy of Hope and HealthCare Ministries are preparing to go to areas of Mexico (and perhaps Belize) affected by the massive storm. Hal Donaldson and Ken Horn of the TPE are scheduled to make the trip.

Hurricane Dean has been downgraded to a category 1. We are still standing by to go, but praying that the storm will continue to weaken, negating major disaster ... which would keep us home.
As of Friday, Fox News was carrying this article about Dean: "Dean Leaves Mexico Relatively Unscathed." Because of this good news, we did not make the Mexico trip.
